About Paper Moon
The moment your guests open an invitation may be the beginning of curiosity and excitement about your forthcoming ceremony. I want to create invitations that further spark their enthusiasm.
Quite simply, I appreciate good design. I am curious about designs that work as well today as they did 80 or more years ago. For instance, enduring simple designs from the Art Deco and Art Nouveau periods inspire my work and will continue to do so. As in cooking using the perfect raw ingredients, so also with creating invitations where the main ingredients are paper, fonts and colour. Paper with its subtleties in colour, texture and weight. Typefaces evoke such character simply by the shape of each letter. Whether rich, creamy or neutral, colour can create an impression and a mood.
The design of an invitation can begin a thread running through your event. A motif, a colour or a fabric; your invitations can tie in to what you chose as your theme. I can help you with ideas that reflect both of you. I would love to help give your big day a special touch of 'Paper Moon' quality.
